Will I was making my new custom map, I wanted to make a huge wall shif w/ sticky pistons. I pulled back the pistons, and only the blocks connected to the sticky pistons moved backed. So I thought that we needed glue for minecraft. And we do. So, I was wondering what other people thought of it.
The glue could:
Keep blocks together when being pulled or dropped. You apply the glue and stick it on the side of the block, and then put the other blocks connected to it. It would be useful with making double boats, walls that move all together backwards, etc.
Why notch should add this:
It would be very useful.
Hypothetical: You read a thread in the Suggestions forum. You suddenly realize you've seen the idea before. Maybe it's a duplicate? No. Maybe it's just you? No. Maybe it's been done already? Very likely: Click here if there's a mod for that.
My problem with this is the point of stick pistons are that they move the blocks that are stuck to them. Glue just seems unnecessary.
They move ONLY the block stuck to them. That's the problem.

Nobody respond further to this. Go find one of the others that existed first.
