A nicer addition to homes and fortresses everywhere would be nice, clean, gray brick. Like a revised, cleaner, cobblestone. The recipe would be as followed.
Simple and reasonable. If any of you have seen Notch's 1.8 spoiler update photo's where the ruins have that brick, thats the look that should be gray brick.
This is a new block, not a different cobblestone texture, BRAND NEW BLOCK.
Calm your ass down, boy.
We all know it's a new block. What he's saying is that since this new block is already supposedly going to be in 1.8, it might already have a crafting recipe so we don't need to contemplate it.
And of course, as usual, people need to stop debating adjustments to updates before they even come out.

Hypothetical: You read a thread in the Suggestions forum. You suddenly realize you've seen the idea before. Maybe it's a duplicate? No. Maybe it's just you? No. Maybe it's been done already? Very likely: Click here if there's a mod for that.

Our response: That brick you saw, is already in the works, and you don't need to debate it because they are already planning it a certain way and will not take advise before it is completed.

In the event that the update includes them without a crafting recipe and instead as a new block, then you can happily say you thought of it first and this suggestion will then be valid. But until then, it's just better to see what they have in mind first.
On a side note, they don't look like something that would be made out of broken chunks of cobblestone, so perhaps smooth stone instead. Just saying.
