If Notch goes through with the idea of writing in books, I'm going to have a server with a town, and a newspaper. You might want one too for your server. The hard thing is: writing the same thing over, and over, and over, and over. Printing Machines/Typewriters to the rescue!
For now, I'll call them typewriters. No, they do not write on sheets of paper. Instead, you enter a message in the typewriter. Then you click it with a book, wait a second, and poof! The book comes back with the message written on it.
This is just a thought for the future of Minecraft. It's not very useful, but has it's uses. :smile.gif:
Don't reply "no". Give me a reason why this is a bad idea or not.

I am meowing at my lung’s fullest. I would even argue that the echo that reverberates back to me is the voice of someone I know…
I"m with you. Printer's just don't work in minecraft. And another time I'm with you again is with the typewriters are a good idea. Typewriters would be awesome in minecraft because you could do letters and other stuff.
Minecraft is not medieval, there is gunpowder. It is set in the pre-industrial age.
Minecraft doesn't really have a time period. It also has electronics, pistons, light bulbs(Redstone Torches)
So, you can't really put a time on Minecraft.

I thought a keyboard was to type in a computer, not write with ink in a book.
I don't think Minecraft will have "right click - copy/paste" or Ctrl C/V.
