This is one of my first suggestions, so it's not much.
I was playing around with Pistons during the first couple days 1.7 came out, and I realized, with the addition of one block you would be able to move more than just one block back and forth. That block would be the sticky block.
Crafted like so - (Turquoise wool = slimeball)
The Sticky block - like you would have probably guessed - acts like the head
of a sticky piston, pulling any block that it moves with. If you still don't understand, I have a diagram for you
as opposed to
The piston extends, and pushes the sticky block, while normally the dirt block on the end would stop and stay, the sticky block pulls the dirt block with it.
NO. Don't click New Thread. Read the rules. I don't give a damn how long or boring they are. If you do not, you will be subject to massive flaming and criticism by yours truly.

EDIT: Whoops, wrong thread. Give me a second..
Here's one. There are many others, but I can't find them right now.
My idea, is different though, and fancier...
It essentially does the same thing.
Well, thanks for showing me!
I'm sorry I didn't find it before I posted, I didn't mean to offend you.
