I have noticed that in the real world, moss grows on MUCH more than cobble, the most notable, is wood. I think that similar to how when a sapling is left alone for a while it becomes a tree, if a tree is left alone for a while, moss begins to grow on the wood, causing a much more decorative look, however, the moss has corrupted and corroded the wood, causing an inability to refine it into planks. This would give a more asthetic appeal to logs. If another kind of dungeon that forms on the surface were in game, mossy trees wood make a good wall, combined with classic mossy cobble floors. Good or bad idea?
What would happen when you smelted a mossy wood block? :smile.gif:
To make sure the moss doesn't grow on a house of wood logs, the wood logs should check for adjacent leaves or mossy logs.
Either you wouldn't be able to do it, or it wood destroy the block. You bring up an interesting point... It can only grow on leaves unless the moss spread. Maybe certain low light levels for extended amounts of time?

Maybe it would grow up wood twice as fast as sideways. And it wood last 1.5 times as long in a furnace than normal wood because the moss burns as well.

Curse PremiumI know about the ruins, I had imagined a form of moss stone walls, but maybe not entirely cobble.
