Like how we have rain and snow in the overworld, Maybe we should add Lava Rain into the neather and it increases the ammount of lava thats in the neather and also has normal lava stuff like lighting wood on fire?

Where would it rain from?

I'd say it rains OFF or the Netherrack, so natural tunnels would still be raining. Like you stalactites have water dripping from them? Same concept. But creating lava blocks? No. That would flood the Nether. I support the burning wooden items part, but the damage it would deal to you should be not-so-punishing. Maybe half a heart damage every 5 seconds when your standing in it? Also, it should be as rare of an occurrence as a thunderstorm is in the overworld. I support!
I can't think of too many places for it to properly rain from so don't take my idea too hard. But perhaps the rain could originate overhead from ghasts ( or a more appropriate flying mob,) this could help keep the entire world from spontaneously bursting into flames while still spreading the lava around.

Agreed. The nether is roofed with netherrack and past it is bedrock.
exactly.
Wouldn't kill you?
I have a bunch of more questions but you wouldn't know how to answer them.
Think before you make a thread, especially a suggestion.
