Piracy seems to be a big problem here, and I have thought up of a few ways to prevent it. First, changes to the Minecraft launcher.
Normally, if you have already logged in, and you put in random letters or just leave it blank it will say "play offline." Instead of using play offline by saving it, it should recognize it by some other file hidden in the computer. Just put the save file in a place no one would bother looking, for example on Windows it could be something like C:\Windows\Config\Datafiles\529ghv2.dll and that file would contain something like premium=true if you logged in. Just put it in a place that looks like it was made by the operating system.
And finally servers
Get rid of offline mode, I don't really know what it is there for anyway, except maybe when the site is down other than that I don't know but I am sure people can be patient and wait for the site to go back up to play online.
Offline mode is for when Minecraft.net is down or you don't have internet. What if I'm on a long plane flight and want to play Minecraft?

NO. Don't click New Thread. Read the rules. I don't give a damn how long or boring they are. If you do not, you will be subject to massive flaming and criticism by yours truly.

WHAT
First of all, what's the point of the captcha that you want to impliment? I don't think that Minecraft has a problem with bots playing the game. Second, reread the bolded sentences and tell me that it does not sound like you want Minecraft to put a trojan or rootkit onto my computer. Windows doesn't allow programs to create files in the \Windows folder. Even if Minecraft did write up some .dll somewhere, everyone would know the day of the update, and anyone could change the setting to premium=true. This just isn't a good method for authentication.

WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT
You should be able to play Minecraft if you bought it, if your internet is down, not to mention the 10% of the time that Minecraft.net is down. This is a terrible idea! Sure, it prevents some pirates from playing the game, but it'd also prevent even more paying customers from using the game on their own time!
If you think that Minecraft really needs DRM, which Notch said that he never wants to do, then require Minecraft to talk to Minecraft.net the first time it is played on a computer, which registers the computer as one of the, say, three possible computer the game can be played on at any time.
Honestly, all of your ideas were terrible. There is no good way to stop piracy without screwing tons of players over by putting in some cumbersome DRM or computer-restricting mechanism. Really, there is no way without doing so.
To prevent piracy, just have a file included with Minecraft that can track your computer and if an unregistered copy shows up on the giant TV in the Hall of Justice, send legions of creeper's led by Wonder Woman to the pirate's house to tickle torture him with a feather until he legitimately buys the game.
Piracy will never be prevented. Nor should it be. Notch probably has piracy to thank for a big chunk of Minecraft's sales, something he himself acknowledges.

Hypothetical: You read a thread in the Suggestions forum. You suddenly realize you've seen the idea before. Maybe it's a duplicate? No. Maybe it's just you? No. Maybe it's been done already? Very likely: Click here if there's a mod for that.

It wont help you,
Iv started learn C and pointrs and how Cheat engine works,
Its prety simple and way to easy to find the pointer to this "premium=true" value.
It will be easy to change the state and hack the game without hacked client.

Also, the whole strange file thing sounds shady. Programers should not use tactics.
DRM would help.
