What if you could keep food items fresh, and even make them get you x2 health?
Well, that dream has now become reality, with the fantastic fridge! With the fridge, you are able to place food items in 30 seperated slots, shown like so.
Freezer
Fridge
What exactly does it do, you ask? Well, if you place food items within the fridge, and you keep them there for about a minecraft day, they will give you x2 health! To know if your food has been amplified, your food will have an orange aura around it, meaning it's fresh...uhh, well, it may not be as obvious, but it means it's fresh. Now, you're probably what the built in freezer does too! Well, if you have a snow block, or a bucket of water, if you keep those items in there for a 2 minecraft days, they will be turned into a nice, cold, and icy Ice block! There can be some other uses for it, but I haven't come up with the ideas yet. How do you craft this wonderful invention, you ask!? Well, heres the blueprint..
Glass = Snow block
Truly a great way to store food, make ice, and keep yourself healthy!

What differences are there between fresh food and other food? Also, this has been suggested.

NO. Don't click New Thread. Read the rules. I don't give a damn how long or boring they are. If you do not, you will be subject to massive flaming and criticism by yours truly.

Did yu not read this topic, man?! It says fresh food gives off x2 health then you regularly would. And im very certain the suggestion in the past was not as specific as this.

The one in one of the Nether mega-threads was more detailed than this. And I skimmed through, and when I scrolled back up to read more in depth, didn't see the top of it.

I think a freshly arranged loaf of bread made of three freshly harvested bundles of wheat would be healthier before it went in the fridge then after it came out. And fresher too!

Now these points of data make a beautiful line...
As you can see, Minecraft is a medieval theme-game, though it includes mining as well. The idea is decent, I assure you, but I wouldn't call it a Fridge. Maybe if you placed a chest in a wooden room lined with snow which which will higher the health regain of food placed in the chest by 1.3 (I find double overpowered.), I'd find it medieval, and therefore Minecraft-ly. I forgot what the name for this type of building is, but I'd support this idea if you went along these lines. Perhaps the food returns to normal when outside the chest for a day.
Notch could put in a counter on food, where it deteriorates in a couple of Minecraft days. By placing chests in this "building", you could temporarily prevent the counter from advancing.
