Now I know that there are mods concering this subject but it wuld be nice if we didnt have to redownload the whole damn thing just for the mod again. Wouldnt it be nice if we crafted a block that would allow us to repair tools.
The repair thing should also work for armour and we wouldnt have to craft the whole thing. (Resource Wasteful). What do you think viewers? Should this be put into Minecraft? Please give suggestions to what should happen in the future,it would decide the ultimate fate of Minecraftia! Thanks, General Porkchop.
...No. Just remake them. That's the point since they run out so quickly.
And you're saying it should just revive the item and not use any more resources? What's the point of GETTING the resources in the first place?
there is a point why I want this block. When I get a tool and it runs out I wouldn't want to use coal to smelt the iron, gold ir whatever make it into a tool I don't want to take a crafting table or a furnace and materials to get the new tool. You put up a good point but sometimes we're in something epic it would ruin the moment just take a block repair it and hope right back into action. I rest my case.

Well perhaps you would have to "repair" the tool by adding a iron ingot and a stick into the "repair block". (suppose its a iron pickaxe)
It would still cost far less than normal. No.

Anvil
it would work like this :
It opens a GUI , similar to the furnace , one square on top and one down
the top one is to place the item you want to repair
the one down would be to add a material.
Example , if your armor is iron , you will have to add iron to the lower square.
Lets see : If an iron pickaxe uses 3 irons
if you add an iron to the lower square it would heal 1/3 of the pickaxe.
that is a good idea.
