Hey guys!
So recently, I've been thinking about using music discs and jukeboxes in more creative manners. For example, putting a Jukebox with a golden disc underground in a man-made dungeon, or near a portal to the nether or so, and have it play the awesome eerie music that it always plays. Or, for instance, placing a jukebox with a green disc inside a 'party' location or such and have it always play. The problem is, for anything to actually be done without the player having to put the disc into the jukebox, there must be some kind of an 'auto-play'\'replay'\trigger option for music discs and jukeboxes.
So, I thought about the following: We already have sticky pistons that use slimeballs. But what if music discs used slimeballs as well? You could combine a slimeball and a music disc, and then, once put into a Jukebox, the music disc will never stop unless manually put out by the player, always repeating, perhaps with a short 5 second break. The grand idea here is that jukeboxes could be useful for a plethora of other things; As background music in adventure maps is one example. So what do you guys think?
Though some way of making music repeat would be a good idea, I think they should turn back on once a redstone current turns them on, so you could do that same thing but only by hiding a redstone torch under it or something.
And how in Notch's name does sticking slime all over it make the record repeat?

NO. Don't click New Thread. Read the rules. I don't give a damn how long or boring they are. If you do not, you will be subject to massive flaming and criticism by yours truly.
Maybe you should include this:
Other players can't hear sticky discs play.
Notch tends to only add things that effect both single and multiplayer, if it's items. What if someone finally found some slimes in multiplayer, and saw there was a sticky record he could make, made it, and wasted a slimeball?
