We're getting npc villages in the next patch, and one of the major questions is "will we be able to trade with them"
So here's an idea, using bones as currency!
The idea would be changing all mobs to drop a certain amount of bones, and the use of them as a currency, like you might give the goblins x amount of wood, and they give you some bones, and vice versa.
Some advantages would be a new use for bones, and that you wouldn't have to rush to gather a new item, you might already have some.
The thing with bones is that I have a mob trap. I can get stacks of bones in a day, and that is with ony one floor on the trap. I would basically be able to buy everything for nothing from those poor suckers.

What do you think?
Village needs 5 wood planks and they're willing to trade 1 iron for it...
Village B needs 3 stone swords for war and they'll trade 10 obsidian for it...
Village C needs a netherrack, and they'll trade a block of ice for it.
ETC.

Great idea, I thought that bones might be something diff. But this is even better!
Good point.
Everything uses coins, minecraft is different, so we should have a different currency #/hipster
