Ores
based on what your ore is, it could be added but check this list about why the ore is good or not good:
1. GOOD - the item is helpful to the game, not OP, and it can work well without interfering with the game
2. GOOD - it can be crafted to make tools.
3. OKAY - it's not very useful, but can be used to make blocks.
4. ERRR.. - it's not useful, and it can't be used to make blocks, but you can dye wool.
5. BAD - the item isn't helpful to the game, it is OP, and it cannot work well without interfering with the game
6. HORRIBLE - the item cannot do anything, it is OP, it cannot work well without interfering with the game or with, it is common
The ore must have something from the list to be classified as good or normal. What we do in this thread is find the ores and post the links here. You will be able to rate it.
part 1 ores:
Demunats is a freezing cold material, it can be used to freeze and enemy of to make snow.
Found at the depth of <12 you'll have a hard time encountering the 2-6 large ore seams of Demunats. They have a dim chance of 0.05% cahnce to spawn once when a chunk is generated!
To harvest Demunats Gems, it drop, you must have a diamond pickaxe. When mined, the pickaxe will lose 50 durability points, meaning they aren't very good with cold stuff. After you pick up the Demunats Gems, you'll feel a breeze from the pocket constantly, in the end, You'll end up loosing 50-75% of the movement speed. This cannot be de-affecte by lava or fire in any way.
When you first get to craft with it, you can make armor and tools. You can create a pickaxe, axe, a sword and a shovel, but not a hoe! All the tools from Demunats Gems will have a 10% chance to not even drop anything, thus that it still have the durability of diamonds but is slightly faster. The pickaxe provides the ability to mine Torzodium, the next on my list. Torzodium won't be affected by the 10% less chance since it is generally the opposite of Demunats, so to say very hot!
The armor you can craft provides the safety of diamond armor, but reduces you speed by a max 75% when all armor sets are worn. When 100% protected, you'll also gain the resistance against lava swimming for 2 minutes, or the time it lasts for the armor to get to badly corrupted that is jsut won't protect anymore. So you get a 2 minutes lava bath untill the armor is broken.
You also have other uses from Demunats, including arrows and ice!
To create the arrows, you replace the flint with demunats gems and you get a frost arrow. This arrow will damage the hitten mob by 1/2 heart per 5 sec under a time period od 25 seconds, meaning 2.5 hearts worth of damage. When the damage is happening, the mob turns more and more light blue(visual effect for being hit!) and is slowed down by 25%.
You can create Demunats Blocks, crafted like any other compact block. When placed, it produces a thin snow layer to all surrounding(non-diagonal) neighbouring blocks. So we have infinite snow for everyone, yay!
Also, if you have a Demunats gem in your hand, you can right click water to create ice, a nice feature for people who'd like to make ice fields and stuff. This only affects spring blocks though!
Torzodium is found commonly in the harsh environment of the Nether, where all hot stuff belongs! Though the Torzodium Gem is differend, its properites are hotter than anything else!
So, when you get to the nether, you'ss find Torzodium surrounding the roofs and floors of the nether. Torzodium is so hot that yo can actually see fire on the neighbouring netherack or even no blocks surrounding it! It generally produces green smoke, just like the redstone. It does not give of any light when left alone, when walked on it will shine bright as if it were glowstone! When walking on it, the player of mob will expose itself to harm, causing 1.5 hearts of damage.
When mined, without a Demunats pickaxe, lava will replace it immediatly, preventing any loot at all! With Demunats it will drop Torzodium Gems, which cannot be used for tools or armor, but it can be used in the furnace. It takes 7 seconds to mine with Demunats pickaxes.
In the furnace, the Torzodium gem will cause alot of hazard as possible, when exposed to heat from sources not itself, it will burn more intensly. This never stops, so in the compact furnace, it'll get so hot that the furnace eventually turns into lava! Lava will just replace the furnace as if you placed it there by yourself!
Now, in the furnace, the Torzodium Gem has the length to smelt 64 blocks, a whole stack. At the 10 last blocks, you'll have an increasing chance for the furnace to turn into lava. Even if it is the 64th item, it might not turn into lava.
Torzodium Gems can also be used for killing creatures silently in the dark, since it doesn't emit any specific light when calm. This can be done by compacting it, causing the heat to stabilize and light are not emitted. It causes 2 hearts of damage every second for all mobs, including the player! The Torzodium block will also, it not surrounded by water, create fire on the neighbouring blocks even it it is stone or cobblestone, this fire lasts forever untill the Torzodium block is removed, then the duration turns intoa normal naked flame from a Flint & Steel.
gypsum?
It's a common mineral, and very soft. Within the game of Minecraft, gypsum could have an ore distribution similar to coal. It could appear in the form of transparent crystals (often called selenite for you mineral geeks). Since it is very soft, it could be mined with any type of pickaxe.
Some uses for gypsum (based on real-world uses):
Fertilizer (useful for those who play on peaceful and don't normally have accesst to bonemeal)
Plaster. Gypsum could be combined with buckets of water to create plaster. Plaster could be used as a decorative building material as well as for crafting statues and other decorative items.
Concrete. Gypsum could be combined with sand, gravel, water, and a slimeball (something to "glue" it all together) in order to create concrete blocks that act as a strong, durable building material.
