Ok, Everyone knows redstone is awesome but can take up lots of space and get tangled. Well what if there was a wifi for the 1.8 update! it lets redstone travel up to 16 blocks away or to the nearest other end on the wifi. Sounds good right?
i like the wii la too but i dont want to affect in the get for the wiiu it stupid :dry.gif:
wtf?
anyways
There is a mod for these , its a bit more complicated than this , yes , it connects redstone wireless , you can choose to what side it would deliver current, also you can set different " channels " or something like that , dont remember to much of the mod , it was so you can use more than one , you got one transmitor and one receiver , if you set to the same channel they will transfer between them , and you can have up tp 150 of these , not really sure. but its really helpful and saves space.
No, I would like blocks that could transmit it like a redstone block if they ever add one. Not something that allows you just to make a difficult trap with only a few redstone.
Hate it when people suggest to simply mod it, that's not the point of these forums.
That's the thing though, if it's already been implemented as a mod, what's the point of suggesting it here? There's already a working version, why reinvent the wheel?

What if the wheel that already existed was slightly elliptical? To put it another way, there's more than one way to skin a cat, and I don't think there's anything wrong with someone suggesting an alternative method of doing something if it isn't yet in the vanilla game. For example, there are many many suggestions and mods on how to implement writing books - people interested in the subject all have their favourites, and I for one would be most annoyed if one of the concepts I didn't like was the only one allowed to thrive.
Conversely, if Mojang want to add something they generally don't lift mods directly anyway, so if the general concept is the same, it's probably not worth resuggesting.
Regarding this specific thread, however, I don't think there's enough new or detailed information to justify its existence.
Then this is my advice to all people who are suggesting things, not just OP.
If you suggest something, and there is a mod that already does it, try the mod for a couple of hours. Once you've experienced it, find out what it did wrong and fix it, or add an idea that you thought would be cool to have had in that mod.
I'll agree with the guy I just quoted, options are wonderful.
But if a writer didn't read any books besides the one he wrote himself, then he missed many wonderful opportunities to see things from a different perspective.

I like the idea, it would make redstone a lot more accessible, and pretty up redstone designs to.

I have no strong feelings one way or another.
