First of all, if you read the title, your probably like "What the heck man, that thing would bite my hands off!"
Yes. It would. Thats why it would be risky. Well, lets say, one day, you have a stack of iron in your inventory, your strolling across
the snowy terrain, you notice you don't have any wood in your handy chest or your backpack/inventory,
You see some spruce trees, you go over there and when you are about to break that one precious piece of wood... you notice something got hit... You look behind the tree.... You notice a wolf with red eyes charging for you. You wouldn't want to lose all that iron, would you?
Now, you're thinking now : Ugh, i think i want to quit and come back and hopefully you get the chance to run. And you suddenly notice that you wish that notch would add petting aggressive wolves. (Okay, seriously, i might be a little pushy)
Well,
Obviously, You would know that petting a aggressive wolf would be hard. they're chasing you. you try right-clicking the wolf.
You miss because its hitting you,
So, You basically, you would have to right click the wolf enough times to pet it.But the catch is: you would need to right click on it Multiple times. But usually you would fail and get eaten alive. But if you get lucky (Somehow -.-)
Gray hearts would come out of his body (Like red hearts come out of the wolf when you tame him)
When the gray hearts appear, you know you are saved and then you grow a freaking tree farm next to your cabin and make sure no wolves spawn. OR: Simply put it, Get a diamond sword -.- and hit it... Or
If you are a cheap guy :3, do what i said 1 paragraph before.
Well, Thats basiclly it. Hope you like this idea!
Too risky, doesn't make sense, and just sounds dumb. Besides, whenever I end up in a situaion like that, I just switch to peaceful and everything is fine.
the problem is... wolves are only agresive when you hit him , if you are looking for wood you wont hit a wolf just because you feel like to , and if you do it... well , it was your fault.

Then I either kill it or switch to peaceful, depending on my current HP and/or value of items in inventory.
