I am new here and have not found any mention of whats on my mind, so am tossing it out to see what happens.
I really enjoy being creative with MC, but find it more than a little frustrating at times. I lay out a really great track with an enjoyable ride in mind. But even with my best efforts, there is nearly always something on the tracks to stop the cart. Now this may not seem like a big deal to everybody, but after spending a lot of time getting it right and trying to make sure no mobs will wander onto the tracks, they always seem to get there any way. They even seem able to spawn over a one block wide suspended rail track....in the middle of nowhere! And I am not talking about a creeper or a zombie......I mean a big bad chicken can stop the mine cart like it is a wall....WTF? I feel this is not only contrary to the whole idea of a track system, but a bit rediculous as well.
So, my suggestion would be for a cattle guard on the mine carts. Is this not a good idea? With a cattle guard on the carts...they can run their course and not be stopped by anything on the tracks. Then all my hard work will not be for nothing...or at least nothing to a dang chicken.
Seems legit. I approve of some method of mob removal from the tracks.

NO. Don't click New Thread. Read the rules. I don't give a damn how long or boring they are. If you do not, you will be subject to massive flaming and criticism by yours truly.
Er... There is already another topic about this on the same page. I can understand if you didn't search properly but seriously? Surely you can just check the front page at least before you post.
the two topics are right next to each other. literally, there are no posts between them.
