First of all, not seeing it on the front page doesn't mean it doesn't exist. That's what the search function is for. Secondly, I think that the other suggestion was much more fully formed. Yours, while I like the original idea of allowing a changeable state light, is not enough to justify the existence.
This might've been brought up before but, I didn't see it on the front page so,
Did you use the searchbar? 1 thread with 100 voices > 100 threads with 1 voice.
OT: I don't see the point. What could it be used for? Other then a new way to light up a room. With the amount of glowstone dust that would be needed to light up a decent sized room, it would be much easier and cheaper to just make a glowstone block or two. Even easier and cheaper to make a stack of torches.

The point is to not use light, read my post before posting please.

I did. The part where you said: "like Redstone except can go up walls and on ceilings" made me think that it looked like redstone, but you could place it in different places then redstone.
Maybe you meant it would act like redstone, and send a redstone current. However redstone works.
If that is the case then why not just make redstone placable on walls/ceilings? Much simpler in my opinion.
Edit: I thought it would be a new way to light up a room because of it being called glowstone. Makes sense. :tongue.gif:
This has been brought up so many times. Most people have the idea of crafting redstone with slimeballs and making something called greenstone, I believe it's called. A quick search on google/forums should give you the result.

Glowstone Wire! It's like Redstone except can go up walls and on ceilings.
Look: Like Redstone wire, except gold and turns grey when turned off.
Crafts: None yet, taking ideas.
So, what do you think? Suggestions? Please answer. :biggrin.gif:
