So, as Jeb said, the latest update makes slimeballs useful for the new sticky pistons, which makes the piston push and pull blocks. If slimeballs are getting one use, why not add more?
Sticky redstone would be like a greenish colored redstone. The crafting recipe would be like a torch, except the coal would be redstone and the stick would be a slimeball. This would make only 1 sticky redstone item, so that sticky redstone is a little more rare than normal redstone. Sticky redstone would be able to climb and turn on walls, making for more compact redstone circuts.
Constructive critisism accepted.

For the last time, I don't have a giraffe stashed in my basement!
You mean vertical redefine? Yes I agree. Or they could. Just make redstone able to be verticle.
I think you should be able to make like a grappling hook, like a block on a string with goo on the end. Maybe it woldnt have that many uses, so its not game breaking.

It wouldn't be strong enough to pull you to a block, but you can grab dropped items with it.
