OK we already know that slimeballs will be made crafable in 1.7 to make sticky piston but there's got to be more than one use for slimeballs.
Here are some ideas:
I think it would be fun to throw slimeballs at mobs to slow them down or keep them in one place.(should work on all mobs except slimes)
If you haven't gained access to the neather yet placing slimeballs on the ground could act like soulsand. or placing slimeballs on glass or ice could have the opposite effect allowing you slip and slide along the glass.
And if you've accidentally get it by one in multiplayer you'll walk in slow-motion until you wash it off in water.
More useless for slimeballs? Useless? You seem to have made a blunder in the title area.
Anyway, these ideas are looking pretty good, except it isn't exactly fair to make the slimeball wear off monsters over time but wear off players only when they wash it. You should also be unable to jump on the sticky blocks. This is just my opinion, though.
I think that they should be able to be crafted into a slime block. I guess it could act like soulsand. The idea of the player moving in slow motion until they wash it off seems unfair, maybe the effect slowly wears off or suddenly ends when you touch water. Nice ideas but you need to fix the title.
>Have it around your house.
> coming for you.
>Run to house
>Get caught in slime and slowed down
>Creeper still coming
>PANIC
>slowly moving away
>Creeper reaches slime and is close
>SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Hmm. :dry.gif:
>take out your bow
>and easily shoot the slow moving
yay. :laugh.gif:
