Now, my topic is surrounding mob villages and my idea for it.
Imagine this, exploring one of your ever expanding worlds. When you are building, you find what appears to be a house of dirt. You look further and you see ... A Human? The man is holding a spear, wearing what appears to be a helmet made of feathers. Then you see more dirt houses, and more humans. Then you come across buildings unlike the others, one appears to be a church of some sort made of cobble, a few more look like bakeries, also made of cobble. Then, you come across an abnormally large building. A man comes out, wearing a larger feather cap, then a woman wearing the same size feather cap. You notice 2 signs outside the door of the large building. The first one reads, "Palace of Leaders" The second one reads, "King Marcus" The third one reads, "Queen Antoine"...
My idea for the mob villages are not too simple, but quite interesting!
A village would be at least 100 blocks from your spawn, With 19 humans in it (Including the king and queen and their 5 guards). When you go further into the village, there will be one bakery. This bakery has a chest in it full of wheat and bread. You are free to take bread from these chests, but if you take the wheat there may not be much bread to supply the village. Going further into the village there will be what appears to be a church. These villages all worship a random natural block and use the church for their worshiping (It could be the temple of dirt!) You will know what they worship when you get to the doorstep. Right above the 2 doors will be the block they worship. Most villagers, even the guards and the king and queen, show up. The temple looks like an enlarged house, 10x20. When you get to the palace, the normal size for it is 20x30. The guards usually are walking in the front. At the earliest stage of the village, they wear leather armor. As said in the intro, there are 3 signs. the first one says something different in every stage, right now it says, "palace of leaders". Then the second and third one state the names of the king and queen which I will get into later.
Stages:
The stages of the village will be the following
____________________________________________________________________________________________
Stage one: Native village
Guard traits: Main weapons: spear, bow and arrow. Armor type: leather body, feet, and leggings, feather helmet
Palace traits: Made of cobblestone, 2 doors, 20 windows (5 on each side), 2 chair like structures made of blue wool, large statue in the middle of the palace.
Average house size: 5x10
House traits: made of dirt, 5 windows (one on each side, 2 in the front), one door, bed, workbench and a chest.
Church traits: made of smooth stone, large windows (10 glass blocks on the left and right), 10x20
Bakery traits: made of cobblestone , 12 glass windows (4 one each side except the front),2 chests full of bread and wheat, 10x10
The kings and queens have a lifespan of 2 minecraft weeks (14 days and 14 nights) They have randomly generated names which are displayed on 2 signs near the palace door, right after the sign with the palace name. Once the system runs out of names, the names are repeated (Like "King marcus the ii")Their "thrones" are merely blue wool in the shape of a chair. They do not fight.
Spear:
The first weapon the guards will use is a spear, which can be used as many times as an iron sword.
It is craftable by the player like this:
Feather helmet:
The guards wear this in stage one. It does not give much protection, but it does give some more use for feathers.
It is craftable by the player like this:
Battle Axe:
The guards use this weapon in stage 2
It is only able to be crafted with iron.
It is craftable by the player like this:
Cannons and cannonballs:
A cannon shoots out explosive rounds which have half the power of tnt. The soldiers will already have unlimited amounts of these, the same as all other weapons. =redstone
If you were to kill the king, the villagers wouldn't mind. You would become the king and take the scepter from the chest in the palace. With that scepter you can create more guards, citizens and all other characters. You may give soldiers specific weapons, 5 soldiers are actually needed to command a cannon. You may also tell the villagers to build new buildings. Another interesting power when you are king, you may go to another stage 1 or 2 village, and declare war on them by breaking 4 blocks of grass in their town and leaving the natural block your village worships in the palace of the other village. After this, you may control your soldiers to attack. When you right click on any wall with the scepter after right clicking your soldiers, a map appears, and each village area is shown. If your cursor is over one village area, it will tell you what they worship how many citizens, soldiers, etc. You may also see if they declared war on you, or you declared war on them. If you left click on that village, you can send, or retreat your soldiers in and out of that city to attack or save your troops. The enemy also may send troops into your city, so you must have defenses. When you are the king, you can order citizens to build a wall with 2 doors which can only be opened from inside.

its a great idea, a village needs more stages though.
There are so many village/NPC suggestions that if they were all implemented it would take forever to code. I think that there should me mods made for the good ones.
