These are just some ideas my friend and I thought up that we think would make Minecraft more realistic and enjoyable.
Sloped Fences: When you put a fence next to another but lower, it will make a sloped fence.
Gates: Placed with fences, opened the same way as doors, can be used with redstone. They look like fences, so they would look better than using a door as a way in to a fenced area.
Rain filling up buckets: When it is raining you simply put the bucket into your hand and it will fill.
A way to harvest/collect ice.
Definitely more food, it's kind of boring that there isn't a wide variety. For example, putting a bowl, a piece of cooked pork and a mushroom in a workbench, would make pork and mushroom soup. It's simple.
Higher and lower map limit, resulting in deeper oceans/caves and higher mountains.
Actual fish mobs. That swim away if you're in the water and you go near them. (realistic)
Changeable blanket colours: Coloured wool to be placed where normal wool is in the recipe of a bed, creating coloured sheets.
Paintings: This is just our opinion, but we think that the recipe for a painting should create a blank one. You can use a stick and a piece of wool to create a brush, and the different dyes can be used as colours, giving them another use.
Gunpowder could be placeable, giving you the ability to make a trail from a piece of TNT so you can light it from far away. TNT should then not be able to be activated by redstone.
You should only be able to choose the game difficulty at the creation of a world. We respect other people's opinions but we think it is pretty stupid that if you don't like monsters, you can just "turn them off", and turn them back on when you want to.
The world also feels a bit weird when it has a Thunderstorm, and there is still the same amount of clouds but just a different coloured sky. We think that storm clouds should be implemented.
Sloped Fences... uhm there's a mod for it
Gates... Uhm you can power doors with redstone as well
Rain Filling up Buckets...Good
Blanket Colors...I don't get it and I don't know when to use blankets
paintings...Good
Gunpowder....you can power it with redstone and redstone torch so It's just okay.
More clouds during thunderstorms...Yes.
I like everything except for the gunpowder and the higher and lower map limit (that would screw up so much stuff). There is already a highly developed suggestion about paintings. Search it up.
Hello and welcome to the suggestion forums! Please read the rules at the top of the page. All of these ideas have already been suggested, and you have presented them in the form of a wishlist, or a list of things you want added to the game that aren't closely related. Please use the search bar to avoid posting ideas that may have already been suggested. I hope you have a good time on the suggestion forums.
