So the sky dimensions and Pistons are gonna be added in 1.7, but what if we come up with some suggestions as well?
1.7;
- Sky Dimension
- Pistons
- Shears?

And here are a couple of my suggestions;
- Throwing paper in water will make it soggy (and useless)
- Drinking milk will heal you. 0.5 health recovery?
- Tiplines (Like when you die, or go to nether, or leave nether, or start a new world, there can be tips on the bottom like for example: Tip, you can find diamonds in layers 10 - 16.
Thats all I can think of.

Since when was the sky dimension going to be added in 1.7? I haven't heard that anywhere.

1.)What does this add to gameplay?
2.)Could be really unbalanced. Bucket + cow = free infinite recovery.
3.)Actually not a bad idea, it would be helpful to new players.
It's been confirmed that 1.7 will ONLY be the Adventure mode, and MAYBE pistons. Nothing more... nothing less.
That's actually not true. Notch and the rest of Mojang AB have stated that besides the adventure mode update, there will be pistons, shears, and more. Notch said as well that there was a fairly large checklist of new things. Unfortunately, the joke picture that he posted up was heavily censored so as to not give it away.
Don't reprimand people about topics you are fuzzy about, and most certainly not if they are correct (Or more so than you are).
Add this to that tipline :tongue.gif:

I wasn't reprimanding him, I was just stating it, because the latest blog post I saw about it stated that, but I'll look in to what you said.
Not exactly reprimanding, I suppose, but there was some awfully big font in that post of yours.
Darn, I double posted the other one :S
The post was just to emphasize. I found the censored pic, but it had like 5 whole words that meant nothing. I haven't found where the shears/other stuff you said were.

We are working on Minecraft Beta 1.7, which I’m referring to as the “adventure update”. We’re keeping the details secret so people can get surprises. The idea with this update is to flesh out the game a bit, making it reward exploration and combat more. Assuming we like them in play testing, pistons are coming in 1.7.
Nothing like what you said. In fact, he isn't even adding adventure mode.

Oh! And to the OP,
I'm afraid that multiple suggestions are not allowed in one thread.

Thank you, and have a good day!
Notch's twitter stated that they are planning Pistons to come out in 1.7, and Jeb's twitter mentioned shears that defuse TNT, shear wool better (Somehow) and cut leaves better (Somehow again).
Notch probably implied Adventure mode when he said the adventure update, but it is a bit of tricky wording. :/
Notch sort of implied that he's adding the Adventure mode, however he's also stated that most of the new content will make adventuring more fun in Minecraft, so he might just be adding a bunch of new content and not the actual adventure mode. Pistons seem like a guarantee to 1.7 considering that Jeb was planning on making a video showcasing them, and shears are a definite addition. Skyworld... people keep saying that that's supposed to be added in 1.7 but NOWHERE have I seen that stated by any of the Mojang crew. Also, while some things haven't been actually stated to be added in 1.7 (like a new mob/mobs), that doesn't mean there is a 0% chance of it getting added; could be that Mojang just wants to leave a few surprises for us.
Now, on to the OP's suggestions
- The paper idea is worthless and doesn't add any real content to the game
- Again, not sure what the point of drinking the milk is. Milk serves to help make cake. That's good enough.
- The tiplines are actually a good idea; they would most certainly give useful information to new players. So I say that that's a good suggestion.
But like llama said, please refrain from multiple ideas in the same thread, unless you're simply trying to be a mega-thread or your ideas have clearly been very well-developed.

I found Jeb's post on it. I wonder what the 4th thing is?

True, although it seems fairly implied that adventure mode will be added, but now that I see the wording, you might be right.
