To get to the Moon, you light up a portal of iron with flint/steel. It will be like a Nether portal, except differently themed in looks and sounds.
GRAVITY
Moving on the moon will be easier, with jumps a lot higher, falls a lot slower and strides a lot longer. Plants will not have growth limits, collectibles will float around and water/lava won't be restricted to the ground. Boats and minecarts will move faster, since the human on them doesnt weigh as much. Clocks will work, although a moon day isnt the same as an Earth day. Compasses will point to the portal or bed, if you have slept.
TERRAIN
The moon will be covered by Moon Mud, which is immune to creeper explosions and wards off friendly mobs. Moon Mud also glows with other light sources nearby, unless clouds block the Sun or Moon. The moon is also covered in crators, both big and small.
OXYGEN
Without oxygen, you will die (and your plants, torches and jack-o-lanterns) after you run out of bubbles. In order to have oxygen on the Moon, you must:
a) Have an astronaut helmet, craftable with a glass block capped with iron/gold/diamond/leather.
:cool.gif: be near the portal (3 blocks range)
c) Be near an oxygen generator (7 blocks range). An oxygen generator can be found in dungeons or dropped from a UFO.
MOBS
There will be glowing green aliens in clans, who are quick and powerful, plus extremely smart. They drop slime balls and bones.
There will also be glowing UFOs, which shoot laser from its drophole. Hitting an open drophole will damage it. They drop iron and oxygen generators.
Where has this been suggested before? I only found something on a different mode...
And how will this not work? Its only a bunch of existing things put together into something new.
This has been suggested before , and more specific posts are in the forums , also , no matter how good is the idea it doesnt fits...
And the guy who said that minecraft is 2000 years ago , he is wrong , minecraft dont have any time , is just a mixture of a lot of times and sandbox capabalities that create the perfect game...

I'm pretty sure stuff like minecarts, pistons and TNT didn't exist 2000 yrs ago. And how does it ruin the game?
