Hi all! Here's what I'm thinking.
I'm thinking we should be able to make a to-do list, via making temporary achievements that will disappear once completed.
You could leave a reminder such as:
Smelt 128 iron ingots, Place 999 Netherrack, Destroy 10 Diamond Ore, Craft 1 Diamond Sword, etc.
The way I propose we do this is using this format, sort of like a MAD LIBS.
[Name]
[Action] [Quantity] [Item/Block/Mob]
Under Name,
you put the name you will see in the menu above the objective, and in the "Achievement Get" notification.
Under Action we would have things like:
Place, Destroy, Craft, Smelt, Obtain (have the amount of said item/block in your inv.), Kill
Under Quantity,
you would place the amount of whatever you need done. It must be a whole number, and equal to or below 9999.
Under Item/Block/Mob,
you would type the name of the block/item. If any of you have Facebook, it would bring up a menu showing the closest matches to what you typed, much like the menu for status tagging. You have to select a given option to proceed. If I were to type in Iron, It would bring up Iron Pickaxe, Iron Spade, Iron Axe, Iron Hoe, Iron Ore, Iron Block, Iron Ingot, etc.
Obviously, they would make it so it would reject some things that make no sense, like Craft 200 Zombie, Or Smelt 20 Diamond Ore, or Kill 4 Cobblestone. You get the idea.
I think that there will be a submenu in Achievements or Statistics for To-Do. It will list your goals in order of creation, from oldest to most recent. Once you achieve the goal, you'll get a typical Achievement Get Window with the name of your achievement, and paper for the icon. Or perhaps something else, I'm not good at this stuff.
Not quite, but if that was implemented i suppose that would make this pointless, now wouldn't it?
It's more or less custom achievements that disapear after being achieved.

After that, the achievement would disappear from your to-do menu.
That's about it, thanks for reading, respond and tell me what you think!
