Wouldn't it be great to be able to hold more information on a sign? I'd say that by combining 6 signs together like you would for a trapdoor, you can make a bulletin board that would allow you to hold more information than just 3 lines with 20 characters each.
It would take up a single square and it would look like a thin block with post-its all over it.
What it does is allows you to make little notes, like a to-do list, or something, without the need to put signs on every single space in your house. I'd say that it can hold about half of the game screen with text of whatever you need to jot down. To view, just right click it, and form there, if you need to, you can edit it without completley clearing it.
In SMP (I assume that means Sever Multi-Player) to prevent griefing on signs and the bulletin board, why not make it to where only the person who placed it down can edit it?
I'd be great for adventure maps, because then people wouldn't have to "tab out" to look at "note 1,2,3,ect." when they can put that note right into the game itself!
Please give feed back, and i'm not sure if this has been suggested before, but so far I havent seen anything of the sort
