OK, I had another idea, inspired by a post federic11 made in the Discussion section; repairing armour.
As far as I could see, this hasn't been suggested before. Please correct me if I'm wrong, and if so, this thread can sink into obscurity, if not comment and support, and who knows, somebody might notice.
Now, I know there are mods that do this or similar things, but I think it would be a nice idea to be able to repair armour naturally in the game, without having to install a mod for this sole purpose.
I can't imagine it being very difficult to implement into the game. Nice because, rather than having to re-craft your armour every time it gets destroyed, or even craft a new one because the armour you were wearing got damaged, you could, for example, go to the Forge, put in the piece of armour that has been damaged, throw in perhaps a bar of iron, depending on the level of damage, and it comes out repaired.
Obviously I haven't worked out the fine details like what it should be repaired with, or how much of the stuff would be required.
Suggestions, comments, criticisms, as ever, welcome.
Not vital, I know, or massively game-changing, but I think it would be nice to at least have the option to be able to repair say a half-health helmet with a single bar of iron, rather than having to use...5? - can't quite remember - to make an entirely new one.
And as I said, I can't see it being too hard to implement.
Sorry dude, it's been suggested many times before. Use the search bar.
If you can give me a link, I'll believe you. But I did use the search bar, as I stated fairly clearly in my original post, and didn't find anything along the lines of "repair", "armour", or "armour repair".
Besides, there seems to be a bit of support for this...
