first of all i'd like to say im not hating on minecraft in fact i love this game but i think the adventure part of the game is lacking a bit and i know that a lot of modders have added alot more mobs that come with there own progressions and have made the game alot more fun. i love to build redstone contraptions and i love to build giant temples. but, when i want to go exploring i wanna run into new things. some of the things from terraria. like boss battles, the way they work in terraria is that u summon the boss and u fight it and u have a CHANCE of getting a rare drop, or when u find chest which are not only in dungeons but also just randomly in caves, u can get alot of verity and some rare stuff too( NOT JUST SOME ULTRA RARE GOLDEN APPLE) Unnecessary paragraph, distracting from point. Remove.
another thing i'd love to see is the animals hit boxes and hit animations made so it makes more sense. if i hit a skelton on on arm i wanna see it move to the side or something or if i hit it in mid air i want it to like go flying, i know notch doesnt like the idea of adding any blood particles which i think would make fighting big huge boss kinda cooler so when u hit it it doesnt just turn red and say ow.... idea kinda open for discussions but the point is i dont like the whole turn red and say as an indicator that i just hit this huge boss. there also needs to be more variety with armor and toolsGet rid of this, if it's NOT your suggestion, it doesn't need to be here.
heres what needs some discussion
notch made it so ur tools brake so u have look for more minerals. i dont like this. doing the same thing gets boarding (DUH CUSTOM MAPS.... i know)
redigit (maker of terraria) made it so ur tools dont brake but there all many lavels of progressions to go to get better tools.
problem with that is that the game gets boarding cuz u have everything and u cant lose.
2 wayz to solve this
tools become weeker(so ur diamond pik will function like a wood tool on its last few breaths)
make it like a mmmorpg that has alot of tools so it takes alot of play time to get the best tools which then again comes down to the same thing if they brake its too hard if they donts its too eazy...
when it comes down to it all tool based games every thing from runescape to minecraft needs a fresh way for item handling for the game to not become bording ever
bottom line ALLLLLL GAMES HAVE AN END GAME as much as u delay it its inevitable (unless u bombard it with updates every 2 sec)

Korthos does not approve. A sandbox should have no endgame, no indestructible tools, no MMORPG style. No big changes in the theme, only new blocks, mobs, effects and bug fixes.
