There should be a Tsunami on random areas at random times. At least 300 blocks tall! oohh scary! It will destroy mud and plants leaving the server very supplyless. I think it would be fun!
Maybe not as much as 300 blocks, but I support the idea. It would make the Minecraft world more dangerous and fun, imo. I'd also like to see tornados, volcanos, sand storms, etc
Okay , yesterday i wrote exactly the same sh*t two times because of 2 noobs with this suggestion
Today , you are the 3rd noob to suggest this , i think i will have to write it a 3rd one.
MINECRAFT HAVE A LOT OF DANGERS , FALL DAMAGE , DEADLY MOBS , CAVES , MOBS SPAWNERS , DUNGEONS
DO WE REALLY NEED ANOTHER SH*T THAT WILL MAKE MINECRAFT 10X MORE DIFFICULT ?
ARE YOU HIGH OR WHAT? YOU SHOULD BE REALLY HARDCORE OR RETARDED TO SUGGEST THIS SIR...
Also , 300 blocks high... okay , the limit is 128 , okay *start thinkings* 300 , out of 128...
Okay 300 is a bigger number , and 128 is a smaller number :ohmy.gif: , Ok now , if i get a calculator i think the result will be : NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Agreed, though maybe a bit more realistic in height...perhaps link it to the severity of the earthquake that caused it.
And there should be other random natural disasters.
If there is a thunderstorm: random chance of a tornado.
If your map has at least 40% water: random chance of a hurricane every 20 days....which does typical hurricane damage via high winds. Hurricanes spawn at a random ferocity. Five being the most severe. The thought of extreamly high winds blowing trees over and sending farm animals flying around just makes me giggle...
If your map has a lot of lava in a concentrated area: random chance every 5 days of creating a volcano. Once created the volcano will have a random chance of eruption...with random intensity. Intensity five would be the most deadly...blocking out the sun, raining lava...initial eruption would decimate a radius around the volcano from the explosive wave, basically snuffing out all life in a localized area.
If your map has many biomes: 10% chance per biome count per day to generate an earthquake. ( Count the biomes as 'plates' rubbing together ) Random intensity of earthquake when generated with varying degree's of destruction. Player structures are about the only thing that would be affected..above ground. Below ground, earthquakes should be able to bring down any mineshaft or tunnel not properly braced. 1% chance for an earthquake to trigger a volcanic eruption.
If the earthquake occurs over open water there should be a 50% chance of Tsunami generation. Height of the Tsunami would be directly tied to the intensity of the earthquake.
All worlds should have a 1% chance, each night, for a meteor shower to occur. Size and amount of meteors would be random. Meteors would have a random mineral/ore composition.
Besides, this has been suggested a million times. How would it work? All the sudden water everywhere and you drown? Yeah, sounds like fun.
maye the only thing not washed away should be stone, and cobblestone, allong with other ores.

Just a few idea's.
