Mods should lock the Suggestions forum for 24 hours after a major patch.
It gives people a day to try out the new features to their full extent.
Also, so people don't go and complain the second a new feature comes out.
And finally, so people don't make stupid suggestions right after the new features are unveiled. IE, the people who suggested completely restructuring the Maps system 10 minutes after 1.6.0 release.
That is my idea.
