Telescope are normally usen to see the space ( and in minecraft, beyond the skies , the isnt nothing ). But seeing really far is a good idea.
But if we think , it will be better a portable version , one we can carry to our explorations , not one we have to place and do stuff.
I support your idea , but binoculars will be better.
Dude telescopes have been around centuries before man even. Looked at space. There are portable versions of telescopes, that's what a telescope really is. Have you never seen a pirate movie
You've got to be shitting me. Please say you're shitting me. What, did they grow on ****ing trees?
This post made me lol.
Anyway, telescopes sound great at first, but here's the problem: On any fog setting other than far they'd be useless. You couldn't see anything because of all the fog.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the reason Galileo invented the telescope was to look at the stars.
Also how about instead of a telescope we can make mass spectrometers. Honestly they are a lot more useful than telescopes.

I'm organizing a new server that will be better than TJRP. If you can write well or even at all (number one requirement), stay tuned!
It's simple, we need to have something nice like a telescope which will make it so we can look far away. As well it would be nice if it could mark the map. Thank you, from someone who really enjoys playing Minecraft.
As pointed out, the distance rendering would mess with it.
However, if there was a way to shift the player's center of rendering some hundred meters in the direction in which the player is looking, without changing the player's position, this wouldn't be such a problem. It would make exploration much easier, that's for sure.
Well, you sounded pretty convincing. Usually when people want to exaggerate they say, "forever ago" or "since the beginning of time" or "a hell of a long time", not "centuries before man".
If you had given me a heart attack, you'd be the one to blame for my death.

Hahahaha a little sarcasm thrown in too. If I ever meet someone who believes a telescope, or anything else manmade came before the man that made it, I will be very concerned

P.S It could also be nice to be able to mark the map.

EDIT: Damnit, still laughing at that.

Your avatar accurately depicts my sentiments on the matter.
Fixed it for you.
