Hi! I have some cool suggestions for Minecraft that might work. Most of the mobs are prefixes, but others are completely new.
Mobs:
Name: Fire Creeper
The Nether is cool, but 2 mobs are not enough! Now we know where creepers go when they die, and they are even more develish! Fire creepers do not explode, as they are already dead, but they spit lava at you, making the nether even more deadly. They drop fire when defeated. 7 Hearts... er, souls?
Name: Blue Slime
Blue slimes spawn in snowy biomes and deal 2 damage and have 5 hearts. Unlike regular slimes, they do not vary in size. They are actually neutral until provoked. They spawn in daylight, and only in daylight. We have enough night problems! Blue slimes drop Bluestone Ingots (Read my suggestion in the blocks part of this post.)
Name: Walrus
Walruses are passive mobs that spawn on ice, water and in snow. They have 4 hearts, and spawn only in daylight. They are pretty useless, but killing them will drop blubber (see my suggestion in the items part of this post), but there's a 1/4 chance of them dropping something silver that carries liquids. O.o
Name: Lion
Lions spawn in forest biomes in a darkness of 5 or more. They are neutral mobs that drop leather when killed. They deal 4 damage, and have 5 hearts.
Name: Notch
I think that Notch should be given credit, and therefore be an in-game mob! He drops 0-2 apples when killed. He is a neutral mob that has 10 hearts. Spawns in any light level, and the limit of "Notches" in the world is 1. (durr he can't clone himself, even if he is an epic game designer. :tongue.gif:) He deals 3 damage when provoked. Now, Notch is a nice guy, so you have to provoke him twice, am I right?
Name: Zombie Rana
Where's Rana? Oh! There she is! Why is she green? Yup, Rana's back- and zombified. She can be found in the Nether, and is an agressive mob that deals 4 damage. Time for revenge for all the times she's been helplessly burned! >:biggrin.gif: She drops a green apple (Again, see the items part.) when killed. There's a 1/5 chance of her spawning in the overworld, usually in desert biomes.
ITEMS:
Blubber:
Blubber is a material used for crafting armor and sleeping bags. It is very similar to leather, except tougher. It is found when a walrus is killed.
Sleeping Bag:
Sleeping bags are crafted using blubber and wool. They are similar to beds, except they wake you up halfway through the night.
Green Apple:
Green apples are found when a Zombie Rana is killed. They heal 4 hearts.
Bluestone Ingots:
Bluestone is used for crafting Bluestone Blocks, armor and tools. Not to be mistaken for Lapis Lazuli or diamonds, it is found commonly on the surface. Has the same item durability as gold. Also found when you kill a Blue Slime.
Orange Flower:
Orange Flowers are not used for dye, unlike red and yellow flowers. They are found anywhere with grass, most commonly near tallgrass. They are actually used for food. They heal you by half a heart.
BLOCKS:
Bluestone Ore:
Bluestone is used for crafting Bluestone Blocks, armor and tools. Not to be mistaken for Lapis Lazuli or diamonds, it is found commonly on the surface. Has the same item durability as gold.
Bluestone Block:
Bluestone is used for crafting Bluestone Blocks, armor and tools. Not to be mistaken for Lapis Lazuli or diamonds, it is found commonly on the surface. Has the same item durability as gold.
YellowStone:
YellowStone blocks are found in the Nether, underground. They are not to be mistaken as gold, which is why they're found in the Nether. Unlike Gold, they are not used for armor or tools. They are used for decoration, actually.
Orange Flower:
Orange Flowers are not used for dye, unlike red and yellow flowers. They are found anywhere with grass, most commonly near tallgrass. They are actually used for food. They heal you by half a heart.
I hope you like my suggestions. Please feel free to post your own on this thread. Thank you for reading this.

Oh.. I see. :L
ITEMS:
Tea:
Tea is crafted when a bowl and an orange flower are put on a crafting grid. Heals by 2 hearts.
The walrus and lion kobs are good ideas, actually. They would add some diversity and excitement to the game.
Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the rest of your ideas. Bluestone, Yellowstone and blobber blocks seem quite useless, in my humble opinion.
I think you should improve on these, giving them functions that we actually need, or new innovative functions.
Thank you for saying it kindly. I usually get a big "NO U SUCK FOO GIT OFF THE FORUMS CUZ YO MAMA SUX" or something. :L
