Minecraft has become one of the greatest games in the world because of it's great characteristics. But some of the mobs are getting old for peoples taste. There has been mods for more mobs but there all to excessive. But I have an idea of making it kind of unexpected when you are playing.Lot's of people have dull servers where there's no randomness to make it more fun, but with these new mobs it could make it really cool.
Hell Hounds:
Found in:This mob is only found in The Nether.
Damage: This mob takes 3 and 1/2 hearts when comes in contact with player.
Hostile/Non-Hostile:This mob is hostile unless you pour water directly on it.
Drops:This mob drops bones when killed.
Other Characteristics:This mob resemble a modern day wolf but has black fur and the eyes and tip of the tail are blood red. When hostile the Hell Hound's stomach has a red X on it. When tamed, the Hell Hound's eyes and tail change from red to blue and the X is now white. The Hell Hound doesn't have a collar like a normal wolf. The Hell Hound can jump 2 blocks high and when tamed will shoot fireballs at mobs. The Hell Hound can go through portals but when it does it starts to howl like it's hurt, but no worry it's just adjusting to the daylight. If you come back and it's nighttime then the wolf will whine when the sun starts to rise and will howl when it become light enough where mobs will burn. The Hell Hound will do this for 10 Minecraft nights, by then it will be used to the sun.Once tamed, the Hell Hound cannot be killed by anything but the owner. This mob moves 2 times the speed of the player.
Park Ranger:
Found in:This mob is only found in grassy areas.
Damage:This mob takes 1/2 of a heart when comes in contact with player.
Hostile/Non-Hostile:This mob varies between hostile and non-hostile when certain condition is met.
Drops:This mob drops saplings when killed.
Other Characteristics:This mob is usually found by animals such as pigs, cows, chickens, and sheep. When you kill any of the few animals in the Park Ranger's sight it starts to attack you. The park ranger carries a stick with him. The Park Ranger will say things about nature when "good" and will yell at you about caring for the environment when "bad".This mob will repel other hostile mobs within 20 blocks.
Deer:
Found in:This mob is found in grassy and snowy areas.
Damage:This mob doesn't deal damage.
Hostile/Non-Hostile:This mob is Non-Hostile.
Drops:This mob drops Bread or Leather when killed.
Other Characteristics:The Deer runs away if you get to close to it, but if you sneak over to it you can kill it easily. The Deer usually spawns in grassy areas, but can spawn in snow as long as there are trees nearby. If you can catch it you can mount it and ride it.
Eagle:
Found in:This mob is found in the sky in any biome.
Damage:This mob doesn't deal damage.
Hostile/Non-Hostile:This mob is Non-Hostile.
Drops:This mob drops Feathers,Eggs,or Fish.
Other Characteristics:The Eagle flies in the sky waiting for the player to drop any food item.If you see an Eagle make sure you don't drop fish. The Eagle will always go for fish. If there is a Eagle within 50 blocks of you and there is food anywhere it will most likely swoop down and take it with him.You can kill it while it's on the ground. It has a 4 second take off delay. This creature does not spawn in the nighttime.
Hell hound... the X is hard to see, and you should make it just like the normal wolf, only that it looks different and spawns more often and not just in certain places (it will spawn in all of the Nether)
It's a good idea, but there's trolls out there who will say "You copying of of the Mo' Creatures Mod!"
Maybe if you could think of someway to make it stand out from the Mo' Creatures Mod then I'll look into it. :wink.gif:

To be honest, neither do I, but I think other people would find it fascinating.
The Park Ranger will be able to be removed for people who don't like them.
The X is kinda just a bottom design to make it look cool. You will still be able to tell by the eyes and tail of the Hell Hound. The Hell Hound will have a 65% chance of spawning nearby and a 80% chance of spawning by pools of lava.

There will be more.
Any suggestions?
