We are aware of the Mossy Cobblestone give a good touch in dungeons so they appear to be for like 1000 years in past.
And everybody loves Pyramids , there are a lot of Pyramid maps , but what about having Mossy sandstone.
It will make Pyramids 10x more realistic!! , so it really looks like pyramids builded by egiptians 1000 years ago!
It is a really simple idea , and i think it is really easy to implement into the game , just copy the sandstone texture , add some green stuff , and it should be the same as Sandstone , solid... a block...
It is a really simple and brilliant idea , dont troll please.
That is a terrible idea, Mayan pyramids were not made out of sandstone and egyptian pyramids would not have moss growing on them
Gonna have to agree with this unfortunately. Desert means arid and Dry and Mayans didn't use Sandstone. And their area was still really dry too, probably too dry for a lot of moss.

The real question is why not add it? I dont see why you'd be opposed to more decorative options.
And minecraft pyramids were brick, so It doesn't need to make sense in real life.
I could see mossy sandstone existing if Notch added the ability for moss on mossy cobblestone to slowly spread if the conditions were ideal. Maybe mossy sandstone would not be something found naturally, but could be slowly created if sandstone was placed next to mossy cobblestone in a compatible biome, near water, etc.

Pyramids are found in arid/desert regions; i.e., devoid of moisture.
What would moss be doing in the desert?
I suppose it would make sense for mossy sandstone to be in something like a Mayan-style temple, though, where the environment is quite humid.

I'm not necessarily saying they were made of sandstone; I'm just saying that's "the best we can do," in regards to finding a suitable block.
I am with you on the "mossy pyramids don't make sense" thing, though.
Maybe not exactly Mossy Sandstone , but a kind of sandstone that looks really old.
Dont have to be mossy , but something that will make it look really old.
You shouldn't say everyone... you should say most people.
