Seems kind of pointless. The only people who would go to those are the people who can't speak proper English which if I had to guess would be about 5-10% of the current boards population. Even if people did speak another language, if they speak even a little English they would be better off posting here as this is where the majority of people are.

Yes , ther are people who dont speak proper english , an example should be me , my first language is spanish , and i only know english because in my school it is an obligation , if they catch you talking spanish they will give a detention , that´s f... stupid but well...
If people dont know at least basic english , they should probably just leave the forums , and look for those fan minecraft forums , there are so many of them , they are maybe in any language. Obviusly is better in the official forum that has a lot of user to help you , but if they dont know english... well they are totally f... up.

Wow that's kind of crazy. Do you live in the US or a Spanish speaking country?

I hate it. For those who can't read, write, speak or even understand English: go learn. It's the single most used language on the planet and isolating yourself to your own language won't improve your skills at all. That's the problem with so many stubborn nations that very consistently keep on translating foreign forms of media to their own language.
Better dozens of people trying to write English than one person being absolutely incomprehensible due to their language.
Very much dislike.
It's also the third hardest to learn. Also taking away languages takes away from their culture.
English is a difficult language because of it's roots.
It is a Germanic language, primarily. Its heavy influences came from the early Saxon(germanic language) invasions from... ahem... the areas of present-day Germany.
Present English is based off of this, though there is obvious mixings with Latin as English has grown. It's the combination of German and Latin syntax which throws people off the most, though the amount of TRUE vowels in Germanic languages is quite unnerving.
This is a very simple example of such a thing: How would one pronounce: the O in ThrOw... Hard O, right? How about sow? Still a hard O? What if I'm talking about a female pig? It becomes saow. What about the word soft? It truly has an audible "ah" or A sound right?
That's the problem we're getting into with English, and what gets into the most trouble. If it's not just the paradoxes of English itself, you also have many confusing colloquial terms that those new to English would never understand. An easy example: the word "Duck". We take it for granted, but what does that word mean?
Is it a species of water fowl? Or is it a call to shield oneself from an errant missile? Perhaps it is a form of military-grade industrial tape?
Due to the complications of English, the amount of governing rules(which inevitably don't mean jack ****), and the requirements of colloquial speech which change dramatically from dialect to dialect, even through a single country, English is the hardest language to learn; even past Chinese and it's near million characters.
With that being said; English is the lingua franca; most public schools around the world are starting to teach it in at least a rudimentary functionality (so one does not starve if stranded in the middle of New York City, for example).
But due to its prevalence world wide, the fact that there are currently over 300 known languages throughout the world; I will have to go with a "no" here as it would require tedious all-language-encompassing forums when everyone here understands English.
No, covering the major languages will not be enough, Portugese, Spanish, French, and Italian would not be enough as it ignores other languages like Russian, Greek, Romanian, Sweedish, Polish, German, etc... and those are just European languages o_0.

The extent of my German lol.
