Well, have you EVER went on a vacation?
Yes, I'm guessing.
You log onto Minecraft, on your account.
'Man, can't wait to work on my house.' you say in your head.
You click on Singleplayer.
Oh no! Where are your worlds?
You find out that YOUR computer holds your worlds only. Now to make a new world :dry.gif:
Well, not anymore! Now, beside the world name there is a "Favourite This World" button. If you click it, it asks you if you would like to transfer it to your MInecraft account profile on the site. Click yes, the world will transfer to a special file, and stay on your computer at the same time. Now, when you are on vacation, just go to minecraft.net, profile, Favourite Worlds, it will ask you "Transfer this to computer?" click yes, and on Minecraft, that world will be there!
I have one of these! It's called a Flash drive, or an external HDD, or a filehosting website, or my own server space, or a Dropbox account, or an SD card, or my cell phone, or the Windows 7 Cloud, or basic networking skills.
Have I made my point yet? I could go on. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm saying this should be the user's responsibility to manage worlds, and Mojang shouldn't have to allocate server space for it. Maybe someday someone will make a website called www.Playmyminecraftworld.com but Notch shouldn't have too.

What's easier, 5 minutes to transfer a world, or wasting money for a memory stick?
Considering a stick big enough to hold a huge world is 5 bucks and you could pull the map off of one PC and put in on another PC in about 30 seconds... the memory stick is easier by far.
