I've been trying to convince one of my friends to buy Minecraft, but he refuses. His reasons?
1. When I watch you play it on your computer, it's boring.
2. When I play it online, it's boring because I don't get to do much besides place blocks, and that's boring to me.
3. It costs $20 (and though I have plenty of money, I'm too freakin' lazy to buy it. He didn't actually say that, but...)
I think Minecraft should have a bit of a free trial. For example, you could play Minecraft for 3 hours and then it would shut you out of the game and give an ad to buy it if you like it or not. That way, people wouldn't see Minecraft as a bad thing if all they played was the free version on Minecraft.net
No, a limited but infinite-duration free trial is NOT an option. That would be kind of unfair. It's not like we're buying WoW here. A limited trial with EVERYTHING would get people addicted enough to buy it (lawl). The first 3 hours of the game did that for me.
There is a free trial. Also, just let him play you selfish ***** (just kidding, but if you let him play than this whole thread would be for naught). Also, if he doesn't want it he doesn't need to get it. Don't force him to get a game he doesn't like.
