How about this? We could make a wollen 'tunic' and 'leggings' in the sense that they would be crafted in the same pattern.
If I crafted this:
then I would get a red sweater. To go with it, I could have a pair of:
blue jeans.
If I wanted more variety, I could craft:
for a T-shirt.
Well there would be a intersting twist if the made cloths had a like 1/2 it wouldn't be a waste of time then to make clothing. Any real use for wool in my opnion would be better than none. You might even get super creative with it like using wool to make string instead of the other way arround. Make a spindal bob or spinning wheel to turn wool into collored string. Then a loom for cloth and then into various outfits.
I only put this out to keep with the seeming pioneer spirit I feel the game has. Like a home stedder in Alaska way back when, start with just a little know how and the landscape arround you. It would also add realisim wich I REALLY like in moddable open play kinda games.
