We should have more MOBs in minecraft, not too many more but just a few.
FRIENDLY MOBS:
Horses. They'll be as rare or less rare as wolves. They can be ridden on with a saddle, but unlike the pig, they'll actually be controllable.
PASSIVE MOBS:
Sharks. Now, I know Notch thought it'd be too hard to have them as they'll eat you, etc, but they could be passive and remain peaceful until you attack them. :smile.gif: They'll swim around killing squid and when they die they'll drop bones, and spawn just as commonly as squid.
Sand worms: They'll be small (pig/sheep/cow size), only spawn in sandy areas, and they'll elusive. What they'll do is crawl out of some sand (4 sand blocks gives it ample room) and then crawl around for a little bit of time (like a minute to 30 seconds.) After that, it'll crawl back into 4 blocks of sand. When it crawls out, its a new sand worm MOB being created, and when it crawls back into sand, its being deleted. If you attack it, it will chase you like a zombie except a bit faster and it will scream, and if you manage to kill it, it will drop string and slime balls.
The sand worms look like this:
ENEMY MOBS:
Demons! Honestly, I don't understand why there isn't a demon (the kind I'm thinking of is a devil with no wings, red skin, horse legs, and horns.) There's spiders, zombies, skeletons, but no demons? :tongue.gif: Anyway, they'll be very rare, almost as rare as slimes, but they'll appear in the Nether as well as underground (around areas with lava.) They'll be the only mob that isn't killable by lava and fire, and they'll throw slower-travelling fireballs that catch things on fire. When they die, they'll drop diamonds, or maybe flint and steel, Notch can decide if he uses this idea.
I don't see why the demon idea sucks. :tongue.gif: I'd love to see all 3 ideas in-game, but having to fight demons while underground would really change minecraft. The only problem I'm thinking of is that you'd be on fire too easily and die pretty fast. :sad.gif: UNLESS you have good armour, of course. :biggrin.gif:
I can't run mo creatures, its too complicated for me to understand

Bump, added sand worm idea
Sandworms: I would say no.
Demons: Technically a Ghast is a demon but you want a generic run-of-the-mill every-game-has-it demon. Therefore, no.
