Alright, here is my idea, a stationary defence that is a 1X2 plant (same size as player) and it shoots niddles at nearby npcs and its made with 2 cactus (middle colloum) with one redstone dust at the bottom middle. That makes a seed that you plant the say way as wheat and is has to be near water also like wheat and it has a range of 5X5 around it doing 1 dmg per hit and it attacks a bit faster then a skelly, but if it gets hit by the npc it takes 2 hits (no matter how much dmg) to break/kill it. i'm open to suggestions on this :smile.gif:

I think a wall of cactus would work better. Cheaper, and you don't have to maintain it. Can it shoot up or down? Does it trigger creepers?
Do you possibly have any graphic for us?

But I wouldn't want this in the game.
A defense system would merely be adding a form of lazy combat to the game...
If you want to defend yourself, rig a pressure plate to some dispensers w/ arrows.
