Skimmed through the sticky with "previously suggested things" but couldn't find this specific suggestion when I checked, so making a new topic. There were some similar, like the "repeat last craft" suggestion, but I don't feel that has the same functionality, unless I misread it. Feel free to merge or delete or whathaveyou if it's already suggested, (which I would imagine it is, somewhere) I might have missed an eventual earlier post. :smile.gif:
Anyway, I would love to see a "Craft All" button while crafting stackable items.
The idea hit me earlier today after I had been on a huge romp for Clay, and were making Brick blocks out of all it. I ended up making around seven or eight stacks of bricks in a go, and that's one hell of a lot of rattattatt clicking.
There's a whole lot of items in the game that you usually create huge quanta of in each go, like stone slabs, stairs, brick blocks, ladders, books and bookcases, colored wool, TNT, even torches just to name a few, in which you have to sit there spam-clicking the mouse button untill you've made them all. A single button next to the usual crafting window with a "Craft All" function, that instantly crafts as many as possible out of the materials placed up to the stack limit, would be an incredible boon. Or even better, add a number too it, and make it craft a specific amount of your choosing. This way you'd only click five times for a stack of bricks, instead of 70.
A simple feature that would make things considerably more convenient, in my opinion. :smile.gif:
Sorry, but this has been suggested in many different forms hundreds of times. Here's one example: Hold shift while crafting, and craft all the items. But the number thing is actually pretty cool.

I figured it would be, as it's such an obvious feature screaming for implementation in one way or another. :tongue.gif:

Great idea. I use a mouse and if you click both the right and left at the same time it gets it twice as fast. So for things like sticks and planks its only eight clicks, still 32 for bricks. It's no craft all button (which i think is a great idea) but it wis more convenient.
I think about this every time im sitting their crafting planks, sticks, torches anything that you make in mass quantity and this is always what iv had in mind. The added boxes would just be buttons that could be pressed multiple times to stack items up. I thought 8 was a good number for the first button bit im not sure on ether of the numbers could be changed

Only one problem. I have a graphic added to my crafting in that exact spot. Think I'd prefer shift click to just make the maximum possible each time.

thats strange you suggest this as an idea to implement because sometimes when im on a server thats kind of laggy when i click once to craft maybe wood into sticks it makes them all into sticks and i rage because of wasting all my wood.

That should never happen, even with huge lag. If you click once, you'll make one set of sticks, no matter how long the delay is. It will only ever make more sticks if you click more than once. Even if the lag is that huge, you could always just drop two blocks of planks in the crafting window for the four sticks you want, instead of the full stack, and it would only make four sticks even with a craft all button. :tongue.gif:
Mods and inventory editing is all find and dandy, aye. But I don't like using third party software or mods of any kind, mostly because updating them and keeping them working is more effort than I like, especially now with Minecraft being updated so regularly.
That pic Spaman posted looks plenty good, actually! Something along those lines would be great, although I have a feeling I'd usually use either manual clicking, or the craft all button. :tongue.gif:
