Okay, listen; yeah, water is great, but if minecraft was in real life, would you want to have unclean water in your house? I wouldn't. So here comes the purification process. Just an idea for making a water purifier.
Okay, here's the recipe for the purifier block: = Purifier block ( )
So for the circuit = redstone torch and = redstone.
Would purify the water. If you didn't understand how its placed its like this:
and the redstone would carry on and so on.
However connect the redstone from the purifier to a Purifier circuit:
You could have the water come out as Drinkable water:
[body] [hand] [bucket of Drinkable water]
[feet]
*takes drink* says Thirst is now gone - in realism - but if you are playing normal, it would just give you some hearts back. If this is all hard to explain, I'll give you the TL;DR version.
You could attach purifier blocks to a Purifier circuit (for more info, see the non TL;DR version) and come out with Drinkable water.

Your circuit seems unreasonable complex. Why is it so complex?
Good idea too. But with water purification you get more purified water.
Overcomplication. Just go with the furnace thing.
Incompetence is a plague. I am the cure.
