Hello, I'm Fried Chicken. Today, I come with another idea. The Travelling Merchant! The merchant is found inside his caravan, stopping close to water sources to get water. The merchant can sell you some supplies and items otherwise uncraftable and impossible to find.
The merchant only stays for a limited time, and once he's off, he's off!
He barters, and if you right click him, it will show a list of items for sale, and what they can be sold for. Right click the item, and you will come with a transaction screen. It is similiar to a furnace screen. I will make a fake one below.
[]- [] - []
Teal= Your item
Black=His item
Chest=Your item you bought
As soon as you end the transaction, you have your item you purchased, but the items for offer are taken.
Most of the items he sells is aesthetic.
Here's a list of items below, and a small FAQ.
Apple- Costs fifty cobblestone.
Creeper statue(for your house!)- Thirty-five iron ingots.
Pig pet- Five gold ingots. (Note, they can die, and is recommended you also buy a cage.)
Pet cage- Five iron ingots.
Mushroom stew- Two iron ingots
Book of dungeoning (Helps you find dungeons, lists possible rewards, and info.)- Fifty coal.
Skeleton mask (same defence as a diamond helm, but nicer looking!) 5 diamonds.
x64 sticks- Two grilled porkchops (Hey, merchants need to eat too!)
Saddle- Four leather.
The Holy Notch Statue- (A RIGHTEOUS AND HOLY STATUE!) Notch with angel wings strumming a lyre with white doves surrounding him. Fifty iron ingots, thirty gold ingots. (Hey, it's holy, so it should be expensive!)
Signed Minecraft Poser- All of the Minecraft Creators, in MC form! Even signed! Pixelly! Twenty wool.
Here's the FAQ below. If I believe your question is very good and could be placed on the FAQ, I will.
Q: How will Notch code this?
A: Well, if Notch can code dungeons, and random worlds that really never end (They do, theorectically, but it takes a long time to reach the edge.), I'm pretty sure he can do this.
Sorry if it's small... Ask some questions and I'll try my best to answer them. Thanks!
