Basically want to start one up. But not some random gen map, completely rebuilt from the bottom up, meaning making the land itself, which would be a troublesome task yes but who said it can't be possible. So I'm posting here to see if it get's any good input, mind you the actual release of this, if it does get built, would be months upon months of additions.
A lot of you probably think, how would this even work, it's a sandbox game. But I've realised there are plenty of mods out there to hinder players from building, which; yes it is the key point of the game, but some people look past that point.
The extensive amounts of mods that would be required for this would be substancial, they'd have to be custom made, and as an O.K computer coding litterate person, I'd probably just pay off modders to do such works.
Anyways, MMO, you can't exactly DIG into the earth, so I'd remove that feature. But there would be ways to get Ore. Think (yes this is going to sound lame...) Runescape styled ore mounds, obviously I'd have to set respawn rates of said mounds so you couldn't just farm the highest ore, highest in the sense that I'd need additional mods for additional ores, to craft additional weapons, types of weapons, and types of armors. So that in itself would be tasky, but Runescape and Minecraft both run off Java, I don't see why it wouldn't be possible.
Custom monster mod would be required.
Custom UI mod would be required.
Non- item stacking mod would be required.
Just a huge amount of mods, but I think if this were to come up, it'd keep constant on updates and content, cause I'd be "con-tent" with what was made.
TMTR - bored of typing. You get the gist of it, suggestions? Opinions.
id like a large MMO server for miencraft but all custom loaded and made already so there is no server lag from making new chunks and it would all be made by ahuman and make sence
(like the holy-mountins or somthign like that)
but I dont think it goes here maybe in the modding discussion im not sure :I
Just so you know, this community hates any slight thing about RPG stuff and removing mine from minecraft (they especially hate the second 1 ) so good day and do not post any more retarded threads and post better threads.
Sorry if I were harsh, just don't do it.
