Amazingly, no one thought to post something like this. Bottles would be crafted like this:

And they would hold liquids. Now, I know what you're thinking. "Icefire" you will whine. "We already have a means of transporting liquids. Why is your idea any good?" Well shut it, and let me finish. When you craft the glass in this formation, you get three bottles. If you right click water/lava/milk/sap with bottle in hand, it will fill the bottle.
"Icefire" you whine more loudly this time. "The bucket already does this. Your idea is useless." Well, I'm not done yet.
You see, when you have a bottle full of water, right clicking it will not empty the bottle on the ground, but into your mouth. If you drink water, you will heal 2 hearts and increase your speed by x1.25. If milk is in the bottle, you heal 3 hearts and increase damage by x1.25. These are extremely helpful in a pinch
"Iiiiiiiicefiiiiiire" You are incessantly droning on. "Why would you want to drink lava?" Good god, just shut up and listen!
With lava or sap in the bottle (more on that in a sec) you won't drink the bottle, but instead throw it. With lava, you generate 4 lava flows in a plus shape.

A great AoE attack, ain't it? Sap works in the same, but instead of deadly lava, the flow is sticky sap, slowing movement to x0.75. However, these aren't source blocks, so the flow will disappear after a time. you also lose the bottle, it being glass and all.
Last bit here. Sap can now be found in trees. When you break a log on a tree, sometimes sap will flow out. Sap is the only flow block collectible so don't try otherwise. When you have sap in a bottle, throwing it becomes a battle aid. However, if you add some sugar...

you get syrup. Syrup heals 5 hearts but decreases movement to x0.75, like sap. Almost done, nearly there.
Putting an ink sac into a bottle gives you ink in a bottle. Dur. Throwing said bottle encases a 4x4x4 area in ink blocks. Ink blocks do not hinder movement, but act as a light absorber, casting extreme shadows inside the area, with lesser shadows outside. Mobs will lose sight of you, and you won't be able to see player name tags. Helpful in tight corridors, great ambushing tactic. Just a bit further now. If you add sand and gunpowder to an empty bottle, you get a handheld explosive. Throwing the bottle give and explosion half the size of :tnt:. rain explosive justice on those creepers!
With this, I am done. Feedback is great, critics can go shove assholery up where it belongs. I spent a little bit on this, so I would appericiate support.

Oh shut it. If feedback is so great, then why don't you want it?
And we could use buckets for drinking if drinking is added. Or bowls, since they're already in the game and need more use. The lava thing can be done with a bucket too.
