Markus Person updates the game on a general basis, so I would like to suggest something to notch himself. Notch, you have a brilliant mind to make this game, but, lets face it, there are plenty of people in this community who don't like every idea you come up with, such as the rpg idea you had, and even though 50% liked the idea, instead of making it optional in the options menu, you completely took the idea off the slate. You have more ideas then just that I am sure you would love to add to the game. Here is my suggestion to you Notch. You support modders, so, who better to make mods for this game then the creator of the game itself.
This suggestion isn't directed at the community of minecraft itself, but, directed at Notch himself. Why would mods be better then just updating the game? Well Notch, sometimes you want to add something that the community disapproves of, so instead of letting your brilliant idea's go to waste, why not turn it into a mod and add it to the mod release section of the website. This would allow the idea's you don't add to the game, available to players anyway without actually changing the game the way it is already. It would also allow players to send feedback on some concepts before you turn them into something more then just a mod.
As for those who are not Notch, what do you think about Notch being able to express himself without changing the actual game?
It's his god damn IP, if he wants to change the game in a way that only 20% of the community approves of, the community had better drop their pants and prepare the lube as it's coming whether they like it or not, when all is said and done, when it gets added, people will be all sorts of "Oh man, this was a great idea, why was I saying no all of the time" even when they themselves place dozens of legitimate arguments against it.
You don't need to tell him or remind him of something he already knows :wink.gif:.

:cool.gif: If they were brilliant, they wouldn't be disapproved.
