This is a pretty good idea, but I'm sure it's been suggested before.
Anyway, I'm sure this would only work if, when biomes are done, each biome is generated on a much larger scale than what we have now. They're all pretty much cramped together still. It would give these biome specific mobs more room to roam and not wander off into places you shouldn't expect to find them.
I agree. Minecraft is fairly limited when you really think about it in terms of features and items. All of which could drastically be increased without getting stupid like some ideas.
There is much more scope for longevity which Minecraft definately needs. I support!!
P.S Why does everyone keep saying "been posted before" or "use search" etc. Fact is there are thousands of threads which makes it difficult. If this site was moderated properly by OFFICIAL moderators then there would be far less repeated topics. Instead you get standard members mini-modding just to boost their reply count which is not allowed on ANY other forum I am a member of. If forum rules are broken the offender should be dealt with by an official forum moderator and not average joe. If this had been done from the start these forums would be far more tidy and a better place overall.

If you were a mod you wouldn't want to clean up millions of useless trollol stupid threads. And we're not mini molding, we're more of criticizing. In the suggestions forums we post ideas, and people correct mistakes. And you know what? Not searching is one of them.
No offense this thread is also fairly bland.

Like add Bears, Seals, Sasquatch, snowmen to Winter/Tundra Biome.
Add Giant Lizards, or snakes to Desert Biome.
Trolls, or Chameleons to Woodland/jungle Biome.
Overall it would add more diversity and dangers to each unique Biome.
Thoughts?
Watery/islands: Crabs, sea urchins, jellyfish, etc
Desert : Snakes ((Yes this was a good idea)), lizards ((Not huge ones)), scorpions, etc
Snowy/Tundra: Polar bears, arctic fox, arctic hare, seals ((Again a fine idea)), Yeti ((Yes again was nice)), etc
Foresty: Bugs, coyote, Owls, frogs, etc
Rockyer: Bats, silk worms, cave geckos, etc
