What are Ramp Blocks? Simply put, ramp blocks are a stair-type block, that is cut perfectly diagonally, it is exactly what it sounds like. A ramp.
How do you make Ramp Blocks? The recipe for this will require 3 blocks. If you can make stairs with that block, you can make ramp blocks with it.
The basic recipe concept is:

Why would I ever craft this? Now, I know what you're probably thinking. No! Stairs already fill that niche, so what would we need ramps for?!!?! TROLOLOLO?!?!And to sum it up, ramps are entirely different, are easier to make, and have some very unique properties.
So, why would you ever craft ramp blocks?
1. Because they're great for aesthetics, and none of you can deny this. You can build a roof, or just something to make your minecart inclines look realistic.
2. These blocks have a slippery property-much like ice-and can be used to keep things off your roof, or any other thing you want to keep mobs off of. It also serves as a neat way to get down hills quickly!
3. They are cheaper to make. Yes, they require only three blocks. which ultimately means cheap crafting, and gives the player the ability to craft these in the regular 2X2 crafting grid. Good for on the go!
now, some key points:
In order to make you impervious to the slippery state of these ramps, you will need to be wearing leather boots.

I prefer the blocky style of Minecraft. I support the 1/8 block suggestion because it is smaller blocks. But circles or incline planes are a no no.
