Slime orbs (or balls, whatever) are currently useless. I was thinking about them, because I was planning on making a floating citadel, a la World of Warcraft's Necropoli (such as Naxxramas.) I would love to create a creepy atmosphere, and I was wishing there existed slime waterfalls and pools.
Why not let slime balls be crafted into a slime spring? It would work exactly like a bucket of water or a natural spring, except that it would produce a new, green liquid. I'm not suggesting that it occur naturally; clearly, crafting it would require work.
I'm not particularly concerned with its attributes, such as whether or not it causes damage, but it would be a very nice aesthetic choice in some constructions.
Let's pretend represents slime orbs. I know it doesn't, but there's no slime orb option, so bear with me.
Slime Spring.
Or? Let's make it harder.
See that part where I put ? Yeah, that's a lie. I meant redstone. Not that I think redstone makes any sense here, just that I'm okay with a slime spring needing some work to make.
Me again. Sorry, but I had a better idea. Put a bucket in the center. Then let it become a bucket of slime, so that it works the same way as a bucket of water and a bucket of lava, and becomes an empty bucket when used.
Now we have sticky pistons, which use slime, so finally it has a purpose. However, I still really like this idea! Although, maybe it's selfish of me :unsure.gif:
