I didnt mean the number to be specific, i just plucked it out of the air :tongue.gif:
Apparently, i think the only thing in the sky that moves are the sun and the moon. and think the way the other things work is by changing the shade and color of some parts.
Im not a technogeek, but thats what i have been seeing from the sky.

Well, you said that it "will" be, not that it "might" be.

From what I saw, there's also a scaling orange gradient that appears from the sun when it rises or sets.
I think it would work better if there was a text file where you can change the color of the different sky parts.
It could be like this:
Lets say, someone makes a texture pack with its main color orange. he is done, but the sky sort of ruins the orange-ish feel.
There could be so much more possibilities if we can edit the sky box.
There will be six 42X42 pictures in the MISC folders of textures packs. there called up, down, left, right, front, back.
If you change the back into a green shade, the sky behind you would be green.
thats just my idea. not sure if it would work out.
It doesn't.
I'm not sure how this idea could work exactly. How would we edit the night and day changes?
Why a random number like that? Why not 32x32 or 64x64? Minecraft texture sizes are usually (if not, always) a power of two.

my idea is just surrounding abut changing the color of the sky, because it doesnt fit with some tecture packs.
