my first suggestion is a mob called a fire creeper. they are the same as normal creepers except they are coloured red and have glowing yellow eyes. whatever they step on starts on fire, and because of netherack, it'll be difficult. and when a fire creeper explodes, if the player is in they're blast radius then they will start of fire, and the crater will also be in flames. the next mob is a demon. they look like the player but they have red skin and horns. they normally attack you just like a zombie and shoot fireballs at you like a ghast. and the final mob: the lavaworm. if you get to close to the edge of the lava pits, a lavaworm will jump out of the lava and attack the player.
i hope to see these in the later updates.

Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.
Didn't you post this exact thread a few hours ago?
i did, i just couldent find the post, so i thought it wasnt posted, sorry
I just found it. It's not that hard.
And no, no, and no. Demons are leaning towards religious stuff, which is bad. Fire creepers are overpowered; I'd rather have normal ones in the nether or something. And lavaworms? What happens when they jump out and land on ground? And how do their physics (which are extremely complex) work?
The ghasts are worse than the fire creeper altogether. These ideas aren't very original, no offense, but it is missing some new ways of attacking. This is what I mean (I am using an example from my mob ideas thread)
Depressed shadow: This gloomy mob looks like it has seen better days or never has seen one at all. He just walks slowly and leaves a gloomy trail of soul sand. This mob will completely ignore the player and emits a dark effect to make his depressing look just sadder. Well, we all like to bully the sad sack so let's do it!
Rage demon: OMG! This guy is right now the definition of P.O.ed! One moment he was gloomy and the next thing you know he goes "FLAME ON" on you and the nether rack too! Not to mention how fast this mob can be is out of the question. Hope that you let that gloomy side of him leave some soul sand or else you are screwed.
If you manage to kill this mob, you will possibly get a dark metal bar (name is editable) which is used to make a mob spawner. Here is how: = dark metal [] = any item that a hostile mob drops []
Remember, mob spawners only can spawn zombies, skeletons, and spiders so make sure you are aware that you cannot spawn any other mob unless you can find it in the over world.

I am just a guy looking for good suggestions that are original, creative, and match the theme of Mine-craft. I have some mob ideas that I need help forming which is a community project.
I want super raptor jesuses with AK's and dirt armour! They drops castle blocks! When you right-click a castle block it will turn into a castle! :biggrin.gif: EPIC WIN
Seriously, google it, and we don't need no fire creepers for now. They would be on very low priority.

So, no.
Great server, great people. Join now!
I think the lava worm should be like it lives inside the lava and does come and get them sometimes from the side of a lava pit.
Don't really like the demon one though.
