Hi, this is a few suggestions I have for Minecraft. Feel free to add on, criticize or compliment:
1. Moss:
- A covering surface on stone/trees (like snowfall)
- Removable the same way snow is.
- Not collectible (Unless someone can find a use for it.)
- Used for an added feature to the game, other then that..purposeless (But in my mind, still a cool feature).
2. Ground-moles:
- Passive mobs that dig 1 - 2 deep holes that are 1 x 1 in dirt that seem to be normal dirt until walked over. (Dirt blocks stay in hole as collectibles, so the holes are refillable).
- Are able to be killed, but drop nothing. (Same health as a chicken).
3. White outs:
- Raging snowstorms that blocks seeing far away.
- Happens occasionally while snowing.
4. Journals
- 3 per bookcase. Able to write up to a limited amount of characters in each journal.
- Possible uses: Reminders, notes for others on SMP, a good storyline for themed maps.
5. Vines
- Rare item that can be found in Rain Forest biome, usable as a ladder type item, but each vine goes the length of 2 blocks.
- Obtainable with bare hands.
- Spawns in amounts of 3 - 7, growing on trees, cliffs, etc.
6. Snakes
- Passive mob in the day, hostile at night.
- Found in Desert, Swamp, Rain Forest, and Woods biomes.
- Rare spawn, similar to wolves.
- Poisonous bite that blurs vision, but only does damage of the bite (2 and a half hearts). No continuous damage loss.
- Drops poison that can be added to arrows, adding damage to them.
These are just a few of my suggestions, and things I would like to see in Minecraft. All comments are welcome.
1) Mossy cobblestone. We don't need moss like snow, that would be discusting and annoying.
2) If they drop nothing and are a passive mob, they do not need to be added. The holes they dig would be forgivable if they dropped something. Otherwise they are just annoying.
3) I would rather not have this. I want to be able to see the full render distance if I have the render distance set on far, instead of suddenly being limited to normal or short.
4) Since we will be able to have I-forget-exactly-how-many unique maps, I don't see how this would be impossible to add. Hard, yes, but it would be possible.
5) I don't see why this is needed since we have ladders. It would add diversity, but that's about it.
6) Basicly a spider that drop something different. No need for these.

I did. I just did again. Two of my six are on that list.
